Position: Producer (audio/video)
Kelly&Kelly is an award winning creative studio based in Vancouver BC. We create both audio and video content and are looking for an energetic, creative Producer who wants to work in the podcasting industry (with a side of video!).
We are hiring a producer to lead a variety of creative projects - such as podcasts (like our hit This Sounds Serious) and video (like our This is That videos that have garnered over 50 million views).
You will be responsible for keeping specific projects on the rails. That means managing the creative process (idea through scripting), building your team for that project, scheduling, business affairs, arranging travel, maintaining a cost report, and coordinating between writers, performers, editors and executive producers.
Applicants must be self motivated, have a strong understanding of content creation processes and demonstrate a passion for storytelling. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, able to meet deadlines, and think multiple steps ahead. Office time is flexible, and we are supportive of folks with families and or/other caretaking commitments.
Womxn and POC strongly encouraged to apply. And if you don’t have all these qualifications, but you are interested, please still reach out. We are looking to hire the right person — not the right résumé. We encourage those with diverse and nontraditional experience to apply.
Deadline for submission: November 1, 2018
A cover letter (in the body of an email is totally cool)
audio samples/links to other projects/portfolio welcome but totally optional! (Do not feel the need to whip up a portfolio from scratch! Seriously.)
